Porsche 930 Turbo SE
The Porsche 935 racecars of the late 70s onwards had wings that swept down in line with the bonnet to aid aerodynamics . Customers soon started asking for these on road going 911`s so Porsche gave them the 911 Turbo SE.
As well as the slantnose and pop up headlights , extended sills ran down the sides of the car and met with rear arches which featured massive air intakes with distictive horizontal strakes . Claimed to vent the rear brakes , these were more cosmetic than anything , but did serve to give the SE an aggressive look .
The 911 Turbo SE had a maximum output of 330bhp which was 30bhp up on the standard Turbo . This was achieved by means of a larger KKK turbocharger , high lift camshafts , higher boost pressure , larger intercooler and a sports exhaust system with four outlets .
