Porsche Cayenne Turbo
The range topping Cayenne looked very similar to its less expensive siblings , but power wise it was very different . Under the bonnet was a 4.5 litre V8 which was fed by twin turbochargers which meant a maximum output of 450 bhp and that was 200 bhp more than the entry level V6 Cayenne . Performance was astonishing for an off roader , with a 0 - 62 time of just 5.6 seconds and a top speed of 165 mph .
As standard , the car was equipped with a six speed Tiptronic transmission that powered all four wheels , using Porsche Traction Management , which controlled the power front and rear as required . Also standard was air suspension that allowed the ride height to be adjusted to suit the conditions .Porsche Active Suspension Management adjusted the damper settings constantly to suit the road surface and driving manner .
